Director Johnny Crash has created a loving homage to the first major movement in adult cinema - the "nudie cutie". In the '60s, these soft-core features were often satirical and rife with counter-cultural politics. Hippies and porn shared the common bond of sexual liberation. Such motifs are affectionately reiterated here.
Misty Mundae combines camp with lesbian lust in her portrayal of a flower child rooming with two conservative sisters. Naturally she sets about catching these two up on the sexual revolution. The sisters get stoned, engage in free loving and grow out earth mama-muffs.
The politics and the porn mix for once well in this pre-nom for Best Alternative Video.
