National A-1 has been in business for seventeen years. We own and occupy a forty thousand square foot office building in Center City, Philadelphia and employ over 350 people.

National A-1 is the largest provider of Audiotext services in the USA. Using Audiotext, National A-1 offers voice personals, virtual chat and live one-on-one phone conversation with paid professionals. National’s main Audiotext service is virtual chat. Men pay as little as .45 per minute to connect with women.

National A-1 is also a major service bureau for many companies who utilize National’s Audiotext services and billing platform. The National A-1 client roster includes movie studios, television advertisers, and others who place ads in media.

On the Internet, National A-1 owns a variety of sites. These include HotMovies.com.

After several years of operating traditional, membership driven websites, we revised our approach to our Internet sites. National’s experiences demonstrated that customers interested in adult websites only wanted to join or use a site for a few hours. Customers were unlikely to stick with adult websites for more than a few weeks, let alone several months.

In December 2002, National A-1 decided to offer a new billing model to Internet Users. We launched what was to become our most successful Internet site: HotMovies.com. At that time, there was only one large competitor in the field. National A-1 strongly believed there was room for another company to embrace the Video-On-Demand, Pay-Per-Minute, and the soon-to-come, Pay-As-You-Go billing models. National also felt it could do a better job than its competitors.

From the beginning, National’s goal was to create websites to which customers WANTED to return again and again. National A-1 also wanted our customers to know immediately that what they get at our sites are good products at a low price point.

HotMovies.com was just the ticket! From the first day of its operation through today, it lets people come and go as they please and gives them what they’re looking for: A chance to “watch what they want, when they want to watch it.”
